Mom Hero Contest Winner!

Last week, we chose the winner of the Mom Hero contest after picking from some amazing stories. Today, we finally got to meet with winner, Christy Buck, and mother, Melva Buck. Together we went through Melva Buck's amazing life story as a person, a mother, and as a friend. Through trial after trial Melva Buck became the strong and truly wonderful woman she is today. After hearing her story, we began her "Jenni K Experience" where Christy and Melva Buck would have one-on-one time with Jenni K herself, to create a unique and beautiful piece of jewelry. 

After a couple of hours of planning and designing, the employees decided to have lunch and get to know Christy and Melva Buck a little more.

The work will continue and we hope to make a great piece of jewelry for the Buck family!

13th Derby Dash Bash

This weekend, Jenni K and friends are taking part in the 13th Derby Dash Bash! Every year, this event is held to help raise funds for the Rocking Horse Ranch, a non-profit organization that specializes in therapeutic horseback riding. This event helps pay for the organizations operating costs, including taking care of the horses, facility maintenance, and employee compensation. 

The event starts this Saturday at 4pm at the Rock Springs Center, running concurrently with the 146th Kentucky Derby. There will be good drinks and food, as well as games, live entertainment, auctions, and the yearly Ladies Derby Hat Contest! It's sure to be a ton of fun! See you there!
