Today's question: "When will my order be ready?"

Ava here! I’m here today to tell you all about the processing time of an order through the website. From the moment you hit “purchase”, your order has begun! Make sure to use an email during checkout that you monitor because we will send two emails between the time you place the order and the time your package is sent out*. The first email is to verify that we have received your order and that it is being processed. The second email is to let you know that everything has been completed and that your package will be sent out shortly! The completion email will also include a tracking number so that you can track your order via UPS. Depending on the items that you have purchased, processing times can vary from order to order. If we have all of the items made in the store, your jewelry should be out within the next few days. Occasionally we are have to make items before sending them out, so that can cause a slightly longer processing time!

*If you have chosen “in-store pick up”, we will still send both emails as well as give you a call when it is ready to be picked up.

Your Guide to the Half-Off Sale!

1.      Get here early! Once one of a kind items are sold in the store, they’re gone!

2.      We do NOT take orders for custom pieces during the sale!

3.      All purchases are FINAL! There are no exchanges or store credits given to items purchased in August. There are NO exceptions to this policy.

4.      Look online before coming into the store. We have a variety of styles online that you can check out at home before coming in. If you find something that you like, you can write down the item number (Ex: BD-42) and bring a shopping list into the store.

5.      Allow time for your items to arrive if you’ve ordered online. We occasionally do not have certain items made when an order is placed. When this happens we make your item based on the order it is received. We have such a high volume of orders in August that we do not promise anything until September. Please be patient with us! We are trying to get your jewelry out to you as soon as possible.

6.      Baby K is unfortunately not included in the half-price sale. BabyK bracelets are made at 5.5 inches and we will add onto them for FREE until they are the standard adult length of 7 inches. Due to the additions made to BabyK at no charge, this line of items is never included in sales or promotions. You can still purchase BabyK during August but it will be the normal retail price.

7.      We do not clean, repair or add on to jewelry during the half-price sale. All of our time is devoted to making items for customers. However, once the sale is over you can bring in your jewelry for any of these needs!

8.      We put out new items everyday! If you visit us once and can’t seem to find anything that you like, come back again because new items will have been put in the cases.

9.      Oh no! You’ve found a bracelet that you love but there is not a matching necklace in-store or in the online catalog. You can purchase 3 bracelets at 50% off each and pay a labor charge of $10 to have them made into a matching necklace. We do ask that you bring the bracelets back in September to be made into your necklace, due to our no custom orders and repairs policy during the sale.

Mondays with Miska: 4th of July is coming

Howl ya doing? Miska here. I'm so excited about the 4th of July weekend coming up. I could really use the break. I've been working hard watching the girls get ready for our August sale. Do you have any celebration plans? Have you got your outfit picked out yet? The 4th of July is the perfect holiday for me to dress up for because all I need is a little blue and a little red to go with my white fur. You know? I do remember seeing a box of 4th of July decorations with some red and blue sparkly string. I could just roll around in it for a few seconds. The girls are done decorating the store so they will not need them. Why should they go to waste? Plus, I'll look fabulous. You'll look fabulous too wearing these shooting star earrings to a fireworks display. The fireworks will not be the only thing that sparkles and shines! 

4 Ways to Keep Your Jewelry Clean in the Summer

1. Keep your jewelry out of pools and hot tubs! If you've never taken your jewelry swimming, now is not the time to start! Chlorine and sterling silver don't quite get a long and it will turn your jewelry black. 
2. Dry your jewelry off completely after it's been exposed to water. Water is one of the main reasons that jewelry tarnishes. With the intensified humidity during the summer, moisture can be retained in you jewelry! 
3. Be careful with the products you use for your skin. Lotions and other body products can get underneath gemstones and make them appear dirty. 
4. To keep your jewelry looking its best, store items in an air tight bag so that moisture stays out! If your jewelry has been in water before storing, make sure that it is completely dry before putting it back in the bag.

If any of your jewelry gets dirty or goes for a swim, bring it into our store and we can get it cleaned up for you!

“Do you sell and repair chains?”

Yes, we do sell chains in our showroom. All of our chains are made in-store. We have a selection of pre-made chains you can choose from, or we can make a chain of your choosing. We offer our customers the ability to pick out the style of chain they like from a selection of spools. If you do not see a chain design you like in one of our cases, please ask a sales associate to assist you in picking out a chain design.

Most of our chains are sterling silver. We do have the option to order other chain designs and metals from one of our distributors.

Any of our bracelets can be made into a watch. All our jewelry is handmade in our store so we do not carry any other brand name watches. If you purchase a watch from us, please bring it back to us from repair. We can do small watch repairs in-store on other non-Jenni K. watches. If we cannot do the repair we will be more than happy to get it to the right place!

Baby K. is our jewelry line for the little ones. The idea and designs were inspired by Jenni K.’s daughter. These miniature accessories are great for all ages from newborns and up. The Baby K. line is even popular among adults who prefer delicate and dainty designs.

All the pieces can be made in sterling silver, gold-filled, or 14k gold, just like the Jenni K. line. The best part about Baby K. bracelets is that we will add on from the standard 5 ½ inches as baby grows at no charge. Bracelets that are too long at 5 ½ inches can be made shorter to the desired length.

The Baby K. line as the same lifetimes guarantee as all other items made by Jenni K. We reshape and repair our items for FREE (with normal manufacture wear and tear.) Broken clasps and beads can be replaced for a small fee. Many of the Baby K. bracelets match the adult bracelets making a perfect Mommy & Me gift. Small charms can even be added to commemorate all of the milestones the baby will experience. Most importantly, your child has a keepsake that can grow with them.

Yes, we sell charm bracelets. You can create a custom charm bracelet by pairing one of our classic Jenni K. bracelets with the charms we sell in our store. The bracelet and charms are sold separately. Any additional charms purchased from Jenni K. Jewelry will be added to your existing Jenni K. charm bracelet for FREE. Non-Jenni K. charms may be added for a small fee.

We sell a variety of charms including animals, sports, hobbies, and more. Gemstone and Swarovski crystal charms are also available. If you do not find a specific charm you are looking for, we can make one or order one from our distributor.

We only sell Jenni K. Jewelry in our store. Our jewelry is uniquely handmade so we do not carry other charm bracelet brands in our store.

Hi, it’s Ava! Today’s frequently asked question is…

“Do you sell monogram jewelry?”

Yes, we do. Monograms are a growing trend right now. Everything is monogrammed these days including jewelry. Jenni K. Jewelry carries jewelry that can be monogrammed with a twist—a handcrafted twist. The majority of our jewelry, including these pieces, is handmade in our store.

We have the ability to incorporate a monogram design into a necklace, bracelet, or ring. Initials and first names are also an option. We offer an initial necklace on our website that features fresh water pearls on its chain. Look for Item # N-44.

Engraving is also available. Initials or monograms can be engraved on discs. The discs can be added as a charm to a necklace, bracelet, or anklet. We offer two monogram rings and one monogram pendant on our website that features a twisted border. Look for Item #’s OF-22, OF-59, and OF-64.

We also have the option to order a traditional monogrammed necklace that features three-letter initials. Chain lengths are available in 16, 18, and 20 inches. These necklaces have a processing time of 4-6 weeks.

“My bracelet is too short. Can you make it longer?”

Yes! We can add extra links or inches to almost all of our bracelets, anklets, or necklaces. All our jewelry is made in-store so we can make your item as short or long as you need it. The standard lengths of our bracelets are 7 inches; anklets are 9 inches; and necklaces are 20 inches. There is an additional cost for adding links or inches. The additional cost varies with each item’s design. Please contact us for exact costs.

Howl ya doing? Miska here. The Derby was a blast and Mother’s Day was great! Hats off to the Rocking Horse Ranch volunteers and the Jenni K. staff for making both a success. We hope your mother enjoyed her gifts. I was unable to have my old chew toys made into something new for Mom but she was okay with it.
